In Loving Memory of Sienna - The Story Behind Our Butterfly Bib

In Loving Memory of Sienna - The Story Behind Our Butterfly Bib

In January 2024, our world changed forever. Our little girl, Sienna, arrived still at 22 weeks. At our 20-week scan, we learned she had major heart anomalies - ones that meant she would not survive outside the womb. In that moment, our world fell apart. Though her time with us was brief, her impact was immense, and she has filled our hearts with more love than we ever imagined possible.

Since then, butterflies have held a special meaning for us. Whenever we see one flutter by, we think of her - free, beautiful, and always near.

To honour Sienna, we created The Butterfly Garden Bib. 25% of the proceeds from each Butterfly Garden Bib sold is donated to Red Nose Australia, who provide support to families who have experienced the loss of a baby and fund research into pregnancy and infant loss. Their work offers understanding, community, and guidance to families navigating grief, pregnancy-after-loss, and the complex emotions that follow such a profound loss.

Seeing little ones wearing The Butterfly Garden Bib brings us comfort and a sense of closeness to Sienna. It is a small way for her memory to touch the world - a reminder that she was here, she is loved, and that families experiencing loss are not alone.

To every parent who loves and has lost, we see you, we honour you, and we carry your babies with us.

To our Sienna - we love you so much, always and forever.

With love,
Joe & Bianca
